Security Architecture integrates security into the design of the organisation’s business, data, applications and technology.
It considers areas such as identity, access control, data protection, network security, application security, resilience and threat management.
Security should not be something considered only at the end of a project.
Embedding security requirements into architecture from the beginning generally reduces risk and avoids expensive redesign later.
